The third RISE UP Online Networking Event took place online on September 9th, 2024.
Share and explore minoritised language media! From the Latin medius (“in the middle”), modern media still has the power to connect small in-groups with the large out-side and to amplify the voices of those rarely heard in the mainstream. During the three hours of this networking event, we presented various ways of connecting with a wider audience for different types of media (e.g., film, magazines, online media) published in minoritised languages and delved into the possibilities of media translation. Actors working in minoritised language media shared their experiences and hosted interactive workshop sessions in breakout rooms.

The event provided an afternoon filled with inspiring presentations, insightful discussions and opportunities to get in touch with like-minded people!
