RISE UP commissioned an artist from each of its 5 selected minoritised language communities to create an artwork that communicates a unique message, an image, or a feeling to the viewer. Our five artists were asked the questions: What would you say to your community? What would you like to say to people from outside of your community? And have created five pieces, which we are thrilled to show you.

Join us at this immersive exhibition which puts minoritised languages in the foreground and celebrates these community-focused artists. Alongside the artwork will be informative panels about each language, where we can come together to learn about each other’s cultures, languages and lived realities.
