Rising Voices helps provide support through:

- microgrant funding and mentoring
- network-building with a special focus on indigenous language digital activism
- the sharing of citizen media-related resources
- specific training projects in underrepresented and marginalized communities

With a direct link to our diverse Global Voices community, we also seek to amplify these new voices through our broader network, where they can reach local and global audiences. Rising Voices is a part of Global Voices, an international, multilingual community of writers, translators, and human rights activists. Together, we leverage the power of the internet to tell stories that build understanding across borders.
